OIL VISCOCITY
KPO Full Synthetic 5W-40 Oil is fully compatible with Kawasaki engines that specify 10W-40. Both viscosities provide the same high level of protection at normal operating temperatures (“40” weight). The 5W-40 formulation simply flows more easily during cold starts, delivering faster lubrication and enhanced protection in cooler conditions.
All KPO Full Synthetic HPR oils are engineered exclusively for Kawasaki vehicles and exceed the performance standards outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
If you prefer to match the Owner's Manual specification exactly, KPO 10W-40 is also available by the bottle; however, it is not offered as part an oil change kit for these models.
