BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN’S GRANT BAYLOR LANDS ON THE PODIUM AT THE CAMP COKER GRAND NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY SERIES

Society Hill, South Carolina.- The fourth round of the Grand National Cross Country Series took place at The Camp Coker GNCC over the weekend in the sands of South Carolina, where KX450X mounted rider Grant Baylor would end up claiming third overall after battling through the field. Teammate Lyndon Snodgrass would have a good ride as well, bringing home fifth overall.

The seven-lap race started with both riders toward the rear of the field, with Snodgrass completing lap one in sixth place and Baylor coming across in 14th. Over the next two and a half hours, Snodgrass would battle his way into fourth before having to settle for fifth overall at the end of the race. Baylor would mount a charge from 14th to come all the way back into podium contention by the end of the event, landing himself another podium finish and moving himself into sixth in points in the process.

“I had my work cut out for me today; there weren’t many places to pass out there, so I definitely made it hard on myself with the poor start. Super fast track, so that made it really sketchy in the main line and was really hard to make passes. Regardless, I’m happy to end up on the box again.”

The next round of the GNCC series will take place in Monterey, Tennessee, for the inaugural Old Grey GNCC on April 14th, where Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green riders will aim to be back on the podium and battling for race wins.
