Clean Sweep for Kawasaki

GREENSBORO, Ga. (May 26, 2025) - Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green put on an incredible performance at the Cherokee National Enduro this past weekend. Josh Toth stood atop the podium on his KX250X  in the Pro 1 Class for the first time in 2025, flanked by fellow Kawasaki teammates.

The red Georgia clay started out slippery Sunday morning, much to Toth’s delight. “I’m a good mud rider, so the rain put me in a great mood. I really like this terrain, just a solid day for me. I kept it smooth and brought home the win,” said Toth. He was able to win all six tests on the day, an amazing feat considering he was racing against a field of 450s.

Steward Baylor came in nursing a sore ankle and a head cold, but soldiered on to take second place in the Pro 1 Class. He is taking a big picture perspective, knowing every point counts in this series. “With how I felt, I’m happy with the way I rode. Josh [Toth] is almost unbeatable here, so I’m happy to keep it close. I’ll be ready for the next one,” said Baylor.

Grant Baylor made his return to Enduro racing at Cherokee. He rode well to take home third in the Pro 1 Class. “I felt ok, just rode timid because of my knee. I tried to keep it on the pegs as much as possible and keep from dabbing it. I’m happy to be on the podium, but I know I have more. Looking forward to Missouri in two weeks,” said Baylor.

Rachael Archer came into the race second in points but was able to take the win in the Women’s Elite Class. “Really happy to get back on top! I felt good out there, just tried to be smooth. This was good for the points chase. Looking forward to getting more of these,” said Archer.

Nick DeFeo isn’t an Enduro specialist, but he sure looked like one on Sunday at Cherokee.  DeFeo won all but one test and the overall win in the Pro 2 Class. “Man, I felt good today. The slick conditions felt like home to me. I kind of just rode a trail-ride pace all day, flowing and being smooth. I’m stoked to get the win,” said DeFeo.

The team will race again this weekend at the Mason-Dixon Grand National Cross Country race in Pennsylvania.
