The Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle’s supercharger was designed to offer both power and fuel efficiency. Operating in sync with the engine, the supercharger allows high-efficiency operation over a wider range of conditions than could be provided by any other typical supercharger. As a result of the supercharger’s efficiency, no large, heavy intercooler is required to cool the compressed air.
To match the airflow requirements of the supercharged engine, the Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle was designed with a Ram Air duct which routes fresh air to the supercharger in as straight a line as possible, contributing to the increased supercharger efficiency. Air supplied to the supercharger enters via a single Ram Air intake in the left side of the upper cowl to optimize flow.
The shape and angle of the supercharger impeller blades are optimized for the high-efficiency engine. The complex impeller is formed from a forged aluminum block using a 5-axis CNC machining center for precision and durability. Grooves etched into the blade surfaces help direct the airflow.
The planetary gear train runs off the crankshaft—with speed stepped up by an intermediary gear—ultimately producing an impeller rotation of 9.2x the crank speed, reaching maximum speeds of nearly 130,000 rpm, to produce optimal airflow.

The Ninja H2™ SX SE+ streetbike's supercharged engine creates unprecedented power for remarkable acceleration. The heavy growl of the boosted liter-class engine is a sound the streets won't soon forget.
This next-level system enables predictive and adaptive electronics for precise chassis orientation awareness. Compact Bosch® IMU enables inertia along 6 Degrees of Freedom to be monitored. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes plus roll rate and pitch are measured. The yaw rate is calculated by the ECU using Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modeling software.
Using the latest evolution of modeling software and feedback, KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters through the corner, modulating brake force and engine power for smooth transitions while assisting riders in tracing their intended line.
Bluetooth Smartphone Connectivity (using RIDEOLOGY THE APP*) connects you with your bike like never before, allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, and general settings.
Whereas many competitive traction control systems react to wheel-slip, this IMU-enhanced feedback version of KTRC predicts conditions and acts before slippage exceeds the range for optimal traction. When turned on, riders can choose from 3 modes, allowing riders to choose the degree in which each mode intervenes during riding. Riders may also elect to turn the system off.
All-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance and visibility. The screen’s background color is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.
Display functions include: digital speedometer, digital bar-style tachometer, gear position indicator, shift lamp, fuel gauge, odometer, dual trip meters, current and average fuel consumption, remaining range, average speed, total time, coolant temperature, clock, battery voltage, Kawasaki service reminder, oil change reminder and the Kawasaki Economical Riding Indicator.
The Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle comes with three power modes: Full, Middle and Low, allowing riders to select power delivery to suit their preference and riding conditions.
The Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle is equipped with LED lights from headlamp to taillight to deliver excellent visibility.
This system allows riders to set engine braking according to preference. When the system is activated, the engine braking effect is reduced, providing less interference when sport riding.

Key enhancements bring Kawasaki’s finest electronics management technology to the Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle, resulting in precise chassis orientation awareness that assists a rider’s ability to adapt to a wide range of street riding conditions and scenarios.
Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) combines high-quality components with the latest electronic control technology to adjust damping in real-time based on riding conditions. The fully adjustable Uni-Trak® rear suspension delivers a balance of ride comfort and sport performance while the remote shock preload adjuster allows easy preload adjustment to better accommodate varying loads or riding styles. Up front, the inverted low friction cartridge fork offers superb action and is fully adjustable.
In the front, 2 massive 320mm semi-floating discs are gripped by dual radial-mount, opposed 4-piston, monobloc calipers, delivering strong braking force and superb feel. In the rear, a 250mm disc with twin-piston caliper provides strong braking performance.
The IMU-enabled Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) is a supersport-grade high-precision multi-sensing ABS brake assistance system that uses high-precision control to modulate brake pressure during sport riding.
The cast aluminum wheels were designed for optimized rigidity, which contributes to high-speed stability whether riding alone, or with a passenger and cargo. The star-pattern 5-spoke wheel design offers optimum rigidity for high-power performance at highway speeds.
The lightweight trellis frame provides strength to harness the incredible power of the supercharged engine and features a balanced flex to achieve optimal rigidity for both sport riding and comfortable sport touring. The Ninja H2™ SX SE+ motorcycle shares a trellis frame design similar to that of the Ninja H2™ and Ninja H2™R motorcycles, but has been re-engineered to accommodate passengers and luggage.
