Baylor Brothers Finish 1-2 at Round 3 of the American National Enduro Championship

The Baylor Brothers made their way back to the top steps of the podium as Grant Baylor rode his way to an overall victory for Round 3 of the AMA American National Enduro Championship, with older brother Steward Baylor finishing just behind in second overall.

For the third straight National Enduro this season, Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green’s Steward Baylor would set the pace of the day, winning Test 1. However, his younger brother Grant Baylor would take over and dominate the rest of the day. Grant Baylor set the pace for the field in Test 2 and used that momentum to win out the remaining tests on the day. The brothers then went into the Super Test head-to-head in the first and second overall spots. It was Steward Baylor who came out on top, but not by a big enough gap to overcome Grant Baylor’s overall lead.

Defending Pro 2 champion and points leader, Nick DeFeo, rode consistent times throughout the day while dialing in his bike setup. He managed to win Super Test 7 but would settle for third in Pro 2 after coming into the day undefeated.

Pro 1 rider, Josh Toth, also had his best day this season. Still returning to full strength, he was able to pilot his KX250X to fifth overall on the day.

Next up, the team heads to Leburn, Kentucky for Round 5 of the Grand National Cross Country series.
