bimota by KAWASAKI RACING TEAM

The official Kawasaki Racing Team made its move to WorldSBK in 2011 under the Provec Racing organization. Over the years, KRT has built a dominant legacy, securing multiple championships with legendary riders like Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea, who claimed six consecutive titles from 2015 to 2020.

Entering the new season, the team looks to build on its first WorldSBK campaign after transitioning in 2025 to the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team (BbKRT), marking one of the most highly anticipated entries in WorldSBK history. The Italian-based team competes with the cutting-edge bimota KB998 Rimini, redesigned using extensive data from the bike’s first full season.

Returning for the 2026 season is the British veteran Alex Lowes and Italian talent Axel Bassani, piloting the striking new machine, backed by key partners including Motul, Showa, and Square Bricks Offices. BbKRT is poised to take on the competition and continue Kawasaki’s storied success at the highest level of WorldSBK.
