MONSTER ENERGY® KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN™ RIDER ENZO TEMMERMAN DOMINATES THE AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP AT LORETTA LYNN’S
Kawasaki Team Green™ riders showed their speed at the 2025 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, grabbing 31 total moto podiums, nine championship podium finishes, and three overall championship titles. Monster Energy® Kawasaki Team Green™ rider Enzo Temmerman had a nearly perfect week, claiming the title in both Open Pro Sport (1-2-1) and going undefeated in 250 Pro Sport (1-1-1). Temmerman left little doubt in the selection process to be presented with the Nicky Hayden AMA Motocross Horizon Award. Veteran Team Green™ rider Gregory Pamart delivered an outstanding performance in Masters 50+, securing the championship with a 1-1-1 sweep and earning the Vet Rider of the Year award. Landen Gordon claimed second overall in 250 Pro Sport (2-4-3) and fourth overall in Open Pro Sport (2-1-9), while teammate Vincent Wey took third overall in Schoolboy 2 (3-5-4) and sixth overall in 250 B (3-2-19). Kyleigh Stallings impressed in the Women’s class with two out of three moto holeshots and claimed second overall (2-2-3). Following on the podium in second overall were Team Green riders William Vanderford in 250 C (1-5-3), Brad Smith in Senior 40+ (2-3-2), and Gregory Pamart in Senior 45+ (1-2-4). Rounding out the podium in third overall were Nate Freehill in 450 B (7-2-3), Franklin Bowsher in 450 B Limited (4-5-5), and Joe Perron in Vet 30+ (4-7-4). Kawasaki Team Green rider Caleb Wood traded his off-road skills for the week to compete in 250 B Limited and 450 B, taking 13th and 25th overall, respectively.
Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Enzo Temmerman proved he’s a force to be reckoned with, showcasing a nearly perfect weekend, winning five out of six motos. In 250 Pro Sport, Temmerman came into the first turn just inside the Top 10 while his teammate Gordon followed close behind. Gordon powered his way to the front on the first couple of laps to move into first place, while Temmerman had to battle through traffic. By Lap 7, Temmerman moved his way into first and put a significant gap on his competition to finish the race, while Gordon held on to second to finish the moto. In Moto 2, Gordon rocketed out of the gate aboard his KX™250 to snag the holeshot, and Temmerman followed close behind in third. Gordon held second for most of the race until slipping to fourth, where he would ultimately finish the moto. Temmerman closed in on the front of the pack by Lap 4 to overtake the lead and run away with the moto win. In Moto 3, Gordon pulled another strong start to put himself into second, and Temmerman sat just outside the Top 10. Gordon slipped to third on the second-to-last lap, while Temmmerman used the moto to work his way to the front and made a dramatic last lap pass to secure first place and sweep the 250 Pro Sport Class.
In Open Pro Sport Moto 1, Temmerman jumped out of the gate aboard his KX™450 to pull the holeshot and put himself in a favorable position. Gordon started just outside the Top 5 and worked his way up to second by the end of the moto. Temmerman would suffer a crash towards the end of the race that left him needing stitches on his chin, but the sizeable gap he opened up would allow him to hold the lead from start to finish. In Moto 2, Kawasaki Team Green™ rider Reece Wheaton claimed the holeshot, but Gordon quickly railed the outside to take over first place after a few turns. Temmerman started inside the Top 10 and battled his way to second place until the moto was cut short with eight minutes left on the clock due to incoming weather. In Moto 3, Temmerman grabbed a commanding holeshot for his final race at the ranch, while Gordon sat close outside the Top 10. Gordon suffered a crash early on that would drop him back to ninth place to finish the moto. Temmerman continued his reign of success, leading the whole race and taking his second championship of the week.
Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Kyleigh Stallings, delivered a consistent performance all week long, securing holeshots in Moto 2 and 3, along with podium finishes in each moto. She wrapped up the week with second overall for the Women’s Class. Team Green teammate Vincent Wey showed similar consistent results in 250 B and Schoolboy 2. In 250 B, Wey pulled strong starts, placing himself within the Top 5 in the first turn of each moto. His consistency continued to put him on the box for Moto 1 and 2, in third and second, respectively. In Moto 3, Wey was battling up front early, but a crash on Lap 2 dropped him back to 31st. He remounted his bike and fought to salvage 19th place to finish the moto. In Schoolboy 2, Wey got a less-than-ideal start in Moto 1, putting himself 14th on Lap 1. He put his head down and powered his way to the front for a podium finish in third place. In the following motos, he pulled much stronger starts within the Top 5 and found his rhythm to take fifth in Moto 2 and fourth in Moto 3.
Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green™ rider Caleb Wood returned to the ranch during his break from off-road racing to have another go at the amateur event, competing in the 250 B Limited and 450 B Classes. He started the week with a dominant holeshot in 450 B Moto 1 and led the race for the first few laps until a crash dropped him to the back of the pack and slowed down his pace. Slightly banged up after his crash, Wood was determined to prove himself at Loretta’s and continued to line up and give it his best effort. He finished Moto 2 in 26th and showed a much stronger performance in Moto 3 to take 11th. In 250 B Limited, Wood had to continuously work his way from the back of the pack to finish 26th, 15th, and 10th, respectively.
Kawasaki Team Green rider Gregory Pamart ran away in each Masters 50+ moto to go 1-1-1 and take the class championship. Pamart put on a strong performance in the Senior 45+ Class as well, taking second overall. Brad Smith would podium in each moto to secure second overall in the Senior 40+ Class. William Vanderford would win one of three motos to secure second overall in 250 C. Rounding out the championship podium, Nate Freehill put up impressive rides aboard his KX™450 to take third overall in the 450 B Class. Franklin Bowsher would power his way to the Top 5 for each moto to claim third overall in 450 B Limited. Joe Perron put in a consistent performance for third overall in the Vet 30+ Class.
“It was a really good week for me. It’s my last time at Loretta’s, so I’m happy to finish it up with two titles. I got five moto wins and second place in one moto. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to go out at my last Loretta’s. I’m super thankful for the team and everyone that has been behind me and supporting me.”
