Kawasaki Grabs Another National Enduro Championship

The Gobbler Getter National Enduro is the last round of the season for off-road racers. Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green was ready for the challenge and raced to the front all day.

Nick DeFeo is a sophomore in enduro racing, but rode like a seasoned vet this year. DeFeo stayed at the front all season, ultimately earning five Pro 2 Class wins and his first National Enduro championship. “I didn’t consider myself a fan of enduros coming into the season, but once I got the hang of it, it became pretty fun. My bike was epic today. I am pumped to get this championship!” said DeFeo.

Grant Baylor started the year off by missing a race due to injury. The comeback was slow and steady, but since healing up, he’s been a dominant force. Grant won four of the six tests and the Pro 1 Class victory on Sunday. “I feel good. It's tough for me to know that I could have won the championship this year if I had started the year healthy.  It’s still nice to get a win, but I’m hungry for more,” said Grant.

Steward Baylor wrapped up the Pro 1 Class championship at the previous round, his sixth National Enduro title. There was no pressure at this final round, but Baylor still rode strong for a third-place finish. “I have some injuries lingering that need to be fixed in the off-season, but I couldn’t miss this race as it is one of my favorites. I am pumped for Grant [Baylor] on his win today and Nick [DeFeo] on his championship. Our team did well this year. Now it’s time to heal up so we can fight for it again next year,” said Baylor.

Rachael Archer had a chance to win the Women’s Elite championship this weekend, but health issues kept her from lining up for the race.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 season. Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green will begin a new race season in February 2026.
