The back-end of the Texas amateur motocross doubleheader began today, with practice for the AMA Freestone Spring Championship at Freestone County Raceway in Wortham, Texas. Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders were able to go out and learn the track prior to the start of tomorrow’s motos. As added incentive, event and team sponsor Oakley awarded watches for riders who posted the fastest lap times in certain classes. 

The AMA Freestone Spring Championship closes out two weeks of almost continuous racing for the Team Green amateur riders. Including the Spring Classic at Mill Creek MX and the Monster Energy Daytona Amateur Supercross, the racers have been competing almost every day with Team Green riders earning an impressive 31 championships. You can look for that number to grow this week as racing gets underway at Freestone County Raceway Wednesday morning.
