Proven Performance
Cianciarulo was on a mission Thursday aboard his KX™100 and lead from start to finish in both of his motos. Collecting both holeshots, he did not have to battle for position, but did battle against the elements of the track. The gate dropped for Cianciarulo’s first moto at 7:30 a.m. on a soft, muddy, rutted track, while his second moto didn’t go off until 5:00 p.m. on hard-packed, slick conditions. He conquered both challenges and is four-for-four in his motos.
“The holeshots were key today, especially in the morning,” said Cianciarulo. “The track was really muddy and it would have been really hard to get up front in those conditions. My afternoon moto was probably the toughest of the week because it was so late in the day and I had to wait around nearly nine hours after my first moto. I was able to adjust to the track quickly and came away with both wins. I really love the 20-minute motos here at Loretta’s and I feel it plays to my advantage.” |
