Weimer started the supercross season off with two top-five finishes before injury forced him to miss three rounds. He rode his way back to 100-percent achieving his best finish at the last round finishing fourth. Finished sixth overall in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship with a podium finish in Unadilla.
Crowned King of Bercy after winning two of three motos at the prestigious one-off event. Finished the AMA Motocross series third in the points earning podium finishes in three overall podiums, 10 moto podiums and one holeshot. Earned five podium finishes en route to a fifth place finish in the supercross standings. Also led five laps during the season and launched to one holeshot.
Weimer would suffer a broken arm days before making his anticipated Monster Energy Kawasaki debut and miss the majority of the AMA Supercross series. In his rookie season in the AMA Motocross 450cc Series, he consistently finished inside the top ten and concluded the Championship in sixth position.
Won four rounds of the AMA Supercross 250SX West Region and finished with an additional two podium finishes en-route to his first career championship. Weimer also won the AMA Supercross 250SX East/West Shootout in Las Vegas. Finished fourth at Hangtown MX and Spring Creek MX in the AMA Motocross 250cc class before an injury took him out of the final rounds of the series.
Helped Team USA win the 2009 Motocross of Nations in Brescia, Italy. Earned three wins (Anaheim I, San Francisco, Anaheim III) and six-podium finishes en-route to a runner-up finish in the AMA Supercross 250SX West Region Standings. Scored three overall victories in during the AMA Motocross season in the 250cc class winning at Thunder Valley, Red Bud and Budds Creek.
Earned one win (Phoenix) and an additional podium finish during the AMA Supercross 250SX West Region season. During the AMA Motocross 250cc season, Weimer earned two podium finishes ending the season fourth in the standings.
Earned one podium and two additional top-five finishes during the AMA Supercross 250SX West Region Series, finishing fourth in the overall standings. Won the second night of the U.S. Open in an open class format to finish fourth overall.
