Administration & Consumer Services
Position Summary: This position
uses technology solutions to provide warranty claim,
GTPP extended service contract, and cost/earnings
analysis and reporting for the Warranty, QA, and
Technical Services group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
- Coordinates and partners with warranty and other
departments within Product Operations to provide
data for improvement in various functional areas
such as:
- QA - to provide detailed failure analysis to
manufacturing facilities
- Tech Services - to help with HL/FSA warranty
decisions
- Distribution for transportation issues
- FSA’s - to provide detailed information for
individual dealer warranty audits
- Public Affairs - to provide detailed data
reporting for failures under TREAD Act
- other departments within KMC for special
projects as requested or required
- Conducts audits to review warranty costs and
provides detailed data for product improvement and
analysis of all warranty claim types as needed;
expands root problem analysis; proposes solutions
for important warranty issues.
- Create technology solutions and options to analyze
claim information in order to make/recommend changes
or adjustment to programs as needed.
- Prepares business plan and reviews claims expenses
and earnings for the GTPP by:
- Reviewing pricing
- Setting standards and targets
- Setting monitoring procedures
- Providing forecasting and budget detail
- Oversees the day-to-day operations and
administrative tasks related to Florida GTPP
outsourcing to GE Auto Warranty Services (Wachovia).
- Coordinates with Warranty Department on direct
sales to customers via mailings and 800#, on claims,
registration, and cancellation procedures.
- Coordinates with Consumer Services on customer
issues regarding GTPP.
- Coordinates with Legal Department and Warranty
Department to insure GTPP compliance with all state
laws for sales, registrations, claims, cancellation,
form review, etc.
Education, Experience and Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree
(GED) is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or
equivalent from four-year college is preferred; and
minimum four years related experience and/or
training in a warranty analyst environment; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must demonstrate the ability to successfully

tasks.

oriented.
- Must bring energy and enthusiasm to group or
team efforts.
- Moderate accounting and insurance industry
knowledge is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the motor sports
industry; preferably with
customer/warranty/dealer issues is preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, you should have
solid knowledge and experience working with
Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
software. Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence
and relational database management software (Cognos
Access) is preferred.
