Kawasaki provides medical coverage for regular, full time team members. The medical plan offered is a Open Access Plus Network Plan with a "wellness" component included. This plan provides 100% coverage for most services such as preventivecare utilized in-network. If services are rendered out-of-network, giving you the option to see non-network providers, coverage is 70% of usual and customary after satisfying a $500 calendar year deductible. The plans allows you the ability to elect coverage for your eligible dependents, and pay the premiums through payroll deduction with pre-tax dollars.
Kawasaki encourages living a healthy lifestyle and making better health choices. The wellness program is incorporated in the medical insurance plan and branded as Kawasaki Kares. Kawasaki's wellness program is a vital part of a team members total rewards package.
Kawasaki provides regular, full time team members with dental coverage though a PPO network of dentist or a DHMO network. The DHMO is only available in the state of California. These plans allow you the ability to elect coverage for your eligibledependents, and pay the premiums through payroll deduction with pre-tax dollars.

Flexible Spending Account - Health Care:
Kawasaki's FSA program allows team members to set aside funds using pre tax dollars to be reimburse for certain eligible health care expenses such as medical, dental and vision care for you and/oryour eligible dependents. For further details, please refer to the summary plan description.

Kawasaki's FSA program allows team members to set aside funds using pre tax dollars to be reimburse for child care, elder care or care for a disabled family member. For further details,please refer to the summary plan description.
Basic Life & Accident Insurance:
In the event of your death-on or off the job- your designated beneficiary will receive a lump sum benefit worth two times your annual base salary. In the event of your death from an accidental injury, your designated beneficiary will received an additional four times your annual based salary.
Optional Term Life Insurance:
You may purchase optional term life insurance for yourself and your legal spouse. Premiums are paid through payroll deduction. Coverage information is available in the Human Resources department.
If you have a pet and interested in purchasing a pet insurance policy, you can pay the premium through payroll deduction. Coverage information is available online at the carrier website and the Human Resources department.
If you are disabled because of personal illness, injury or pregnancy, the Disability Plan, in coordination with other disability income you may receive, will pay up to 60% of your base salary and may continue to age 65.
If you become disabled as a result of an on-the-job injury or illness related to work, you will be eligible for benefits as determined by your state's Workers' Compensation law.
When you retire, you will receive a monthly benefit or a lump sum distribution from the Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Employees Pension Plan. The amount is based on your salary and years of service less Social Security. You become 100% vested in the plan after 5 years of service.
You can participate in the plan the first of the month following six months of service. You can defer a percentage of your salary either pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) in the plan.Kawasaki matches $.50 for reach dollar you contribute up to 4% of your salary. You become 100% vested in the plan after 3 years of service. You will be automatically enrolled in the plan at 4% and your contribution will be invested in a Lifetime investment option.
Paid Time Off is used for vacations, illnesses, emergencies or any other reason not covered by Kawasaki's other leave of absence plans. You earn PTO every payroll period beginning 30 days after your hire date based on the following schedule:

Kawasaki observes 8 paid holidays per year.

In addition, the company selects four extra paid holidays each year and announces these days before January 1.
Long Term Care:
Kawasaki offers long term care insurance at a group rate. Premiums can be paid through payroll deduction. Coverage information is available in the Human Resources department.
Kawasaki offers tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per calendar year for courses related directly to your job.
