BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN’S GRANT BAYLOR RALLIES TO THIRD OVERALL AT THE POWER-LINE PARK GNCC

St. Clarksville, OH - Round seven of the 2024 Grand National Cross Country Series was held over the weekend at a muddy Power-Line Park GNCC, where XC-1 pilot Grant Baylor would race his way to a podium finish and teammate Lyndon Snodgrass would rally after a crash for a top-ten finish.

After rounding the first turn dead last and a crash on lap one, KX450X pilot Baylor put on a charge through the field that would take him from tenth on the opening lap to the third-place position at the conclusion of the race. Teammate Snodgrass would get off to a good start and battle with the leaders until a crash on lap three would force him to battle back through the pack, resulting in an eighth-place finish.

“It was a brutal day out there; I didn’t make it easy on myself with a crash on a rocky downhill on the first lap, but I put my head down and gave it all I had and caught the leaders with two to go but laid it down and couldn’t quite reel them in after that. I'm happy to end up on the podium” said Baylor.

Round eight of the GNCC series will take place on June 2nd at the iconic High-Point Raceway for the Mason Dixon GNCC, where Lyndon Snodgrass looks to join his teammate on the podium.
